Methodology Notes: 

    The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) , funded by the Administration for Community Living, Administration on Aging (AoA), periodically surveys states about their Adult Protective Service (APS) systems and the systems' collection of data on perpetrators and victims of abuse. These survey data are published periodically in reports to AoA that are publicly available. We anticipate that the NCEA will be collecting these data again in the 2010s.
