A Systematic Review of Mental Disorder, Suicide, and Deliberate Self Harm in Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual People

Description of Resource:
This review contains research and data from an international base across time and may have applications to broadening the narrow window of LGBT evidence-based research. The data reviewed are taken from international studies and U.S.-based samples. The authors of this review clearly indicate institutionalized prejudice and social stigma as large factors that may contribute to depressive episodes and mental instability.
