Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Infection: Screening
Description of Resource:
The USPSTF recommends that clinicians screen for HIV infection in adolescents and adults aged 15 to 65 years. Younger adolescents and older adults who are at increased risk of infection should also be screened. This is an A recommendation, which means the USPSTF recommends the service. There is a high certainty that the net benefit is substantial.
