High Blood Pressure Screening: Adults

Description of Resource: 
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends screening for high blood pressure in adults aged 18 years or older. The USPSTF recommends obtaining measurements outside of the clinical setting for diagnostic confirmation before starting treatment. This is an A recommendation, which means the USPSTF recommends the service. There is high certainty that the net benefit is substantial.
