Cancer Screening: Multicomponent Interventions—Breast Cancer
Description of Resource:
The Community Preventive Services Task Force recommends multicomponent interventions to increase screening for breast cancer. Evidence across studies for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening suggests interventions are more effective when they combine approaches to increase community demand and access. The greatest effects come from interventions that combine these two approaches with interventions to increase provider delivery of services.
