Ground Transportation by Car to CDCFor those who are traveling by car, the CDC is located at 1600 Clifton Road, N.E., Atlanta, GA 30333. The CDC offers complimentary parking. You will stop at the first guard station, where guards will inspect your vehicle. They will then direct you to the visitors' parking deck. From here you will check in with the guards in the Tom Harkin Global Communications Center's lobby. Security InstructionsU.S. Citizens: A government-issued picture ID will be required to enter the Tom Harkin Global Communications Center on the campus of U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Foreign nationals must complete the Healthy People Regional Meetings registration form by March 3, 2008 for the Healthy People 2020 Regional Meeting being held in Atlanta. Non-U.S. citizens are required to complete additional security clearance forms before your registration is approved. The Atlanta Regional Meeting venue on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention campus is a Federal facility that requires pre-notification and clearance of public guests who are non-U.S. citizens. |
