9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
located at 200 Independence Ave., S.W., Washington, DC.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow the full committee to develop its recommendations
for implementing the Healthy People 2020 goals and objectives.

Fifteenth Meeting
The fifteenth meeting of the Advisory Committee was held on September 17-18, 2009,
from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EDT, at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
200 Independence Ave S.W., Washington, DC. During the meeting, Dr. Howard
Koh, the Assistant Secretary for Health, swore in the Committee members for a second
two-year term, and the Committee members discussed priorities, social determinants
of health, evidence-based resources, and implementation.
