Format for Regional Meetings

Each meeting began with a half-day, afternoon session where participants discussed the successes and challenges encountered in meeting goals for the year 2000. Critical issues to be faced in improving health by the year 2010 were also discussed. The second day of each meeting was a public hearing where participants commented on the draft objectives.
