Methodology

Proposed HP2020 method – via online search, identify the number of states that have at least one health promotion program for people with disabilities located within a major state-involved entity, e.g., state health department or university, regardless of federal funding source.

Response rate and sample size

Proposed 2011 sample, 50 states and the District of Columbia disability and health promotion (DH) programs; In 2010, all CDC, DH-funded programs were reviewed; 16 had health promotion programs for people with disabilities.
