National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education

Description

The National Resource Center (NRC) is located at the University of Colorado Denver in Denver, Colorado, and is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau. The NRC's primary mission is to promote health and safety in out-of-home child care settings throughout the nation. NRC provides health and safety resources including training curricula, national standards, and regulations for parents, child care providers, regulators, and child care health consultants. It maintains a public access database of state child care licensing regulations, including nutrition standards to promote healthy eating and prevent obesity.
