Clinical Performance Measures Project
The Clinical Performance Measures project (CPM) was initiated to develop measures to track the quality of renal dialysis services provided under the Medicare program. Twenty six measures were developed by experts in the end-stage renal disease (ESRD) field, tested for reliability and validity and adopted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in 2008.
